Make Time to Have Money
You may wonder why you don’t have more money when you work harder for it.
The reason is that you need to do less, not more, to have more money. At least initially.
Whether you want to make more money, raise more money, have more money, attract more money, or simply enjoy more money, the very first thing you need to do is to set aside time for it.
I realized the utter importance of this simple fact just this past week. Up til now, I’d taken for granted that it was obvious that if we want to bring more money into our world, we have to set aside time to do something differently than we have done it.
Doing what we’ve always done brings us what we’ve always had.
Doing something different can result in having, raising, making, attracting or enjoying more money.
But you won’t know what you need to do differently if you don’t take the time and space to think about it. More money demands creativity!
PS: And you know what we say at RAISING CLARITY: Schedule it!
This post is dedicated to my soul-colleague K, who helped me realize this was important advice.

Posted at 23:08h, 10 MarchDude, Can you give a variety of examples? Like, are we talking about making time to manage money (even if there is not a lot) so that we are intentionally setting time aside for money? I feel like you mean something different….

Posted at 23:20h, 10 MarchDude, funny you should ask–I totally need to write a follow-up blog post! You are right, thank you for asking! And no, that’s not what I had in mind, although any time we use to get more conscious with money is good. (Unless we are obsessing and spending too much time; everything in balance!) No, I mean creativity takes time. It takes time to have wonderful new ideas. That’s why life can seem so stale sometimes, and people complain about its being stale: they/we don’t take time to do “nothing” (that’s what it looks like from the outside) to have new ideas. Focusing “doing nothing” time to imagine, experiment mentally, play around with what about this or what if I did it that way, would it save me more money/attract new customers/be more fun/more lucrative/engage a whole new audience. Like that. But let me blog about it! Thanks!
