Abundance Requires Emptiness
Right about this time of year, I find myself thinking:
The Universe must think I’m a badass (because the Universe never gives you anything you can’t handle).
(Of course you’ve seen this on social media. It’s not my original quotation!)
When my apartment building burned down a few years ago, I absolutely felt like a badass.
When we came home last week after 10 days on the road to no running water, part of me definitely felt this way.
But when a dear one stopped talking to me a couple of years ago, I didn’t feel this way.
What makes the difference? Resistance to what I’m receiving.
What makes the greatest difference to my abundance and to my manifestation is my ability to work with what comes toward my goal. I don’t mean my ability to abandon my goal, or accepting what I’m receiving as the Universe’s goal for me.
I mean working with what comes as exactly the Universe’s answer to my request for what I wanted.
What are you receiving right now that you may or may not want?
Especially in this season.
I welcome emptiness, dark times, and old hurts surfacing because I am strong enough now to watch them arise, which often heals them all by itself–and allow them to depart as accretions on my true nature.

Where are you being emptied? What is being taken from you? What are you losing? Do you like it or not?
